A special thank you to all who came to the 5th Annual Scholarship Fundraisers. The 5th annual Golf Tournament held on June 7th, 2007 was filled with golfing, raffles, lunch, prizes, cocktails, and fun by all. Once again it was a beautiful day. We hope you enjoyed your day and will participate in the upcoming tournament. The Comedy Show was held at Montvale Plaza in Stoneham. The comedians Paul Gilligan, Dave Russo, Tony V, and Danny Crowley were outstanding. There was a dinner buffet, cocktails, prizes, raffles, a silent auction, and many laughs shared by all….. and the Red Sox won that night!!!
All proceeds from the events benefit the JMM Memorial Fund. Three scholarships are awarded annually. One award is given to a family member of the Malden Fire Department and two are given to family and friends of the JMM II. If you are interested in applying for the scholarship please complete the scholarship application. Send it completed as an email attachment to mmcgonagle@aol.com. The deadline to apply is October 1st, 2008. The scholarship will be presented at the Scholarship Dance in the fall. The date for the Scholarship will be posted shortly. Check back for updates.
Words cannot express our gratitude to all those who have participated throughout the years. We love seeing you each year at each event. We hope you can join us at the golf tournament on Friday, June 20th. If you would like to sponsor a hole or donate an item for the raffle please complete the appropriate form on the Sponsor/Donate page above.
